一開始是這樣。

我在讀書，在網路上掛著。發現友人在河道上分享Evanescence，於是我就回敬了The Gossip。然後一陣熱烈討論與分享下，我想起了某個音樂專欄，整個晚上就陷在裡面無法自拔。

然後聽到這首萬能金錢（啊這樣翻不知好不好），連帶想起剛剛讀完的《Y先生的結局》。裡頭的女主角愛麗兒幾乎一直處在一種飢餓且需要金錢的狀態。＂為了錢什麼都肯做＂她傳了一個這樣的簡訊給自己的性對象（啊，這樣說不知道正不正確）。這其實是一本涉及科學、哲學思考的書。語言一直是被強調的重點。所有的物質、所有的意義，都是由語言所賦與的。

這一段話我很認同：

我原本以為這堂課相當好教，我想教的是我們稱之為「小便池」的東西（也就是男人把尿撒進去的容器），和我們稱之為「繪畫」的東西（也就是畫在畫布上的畫）之所以不同，是因為我們在語言裡賦予它們不同的名稱。此外，我們要不要把「小便池」或「繪畫」歸到「藝術」的範疇，則取決於我們如何定義藝術。

我和他們說，小便池和達文西的名畫「蒙娜麗莎」實際上相同，而一個東西真實與否全取決於我們觀看的角度。把小便池和「蒙娜麗莎」放在超高倍顯微鏡底下看，這兩個東西看起來是一模一樣的。

我同時想起最近被熱烈討論的夢想家事件，還有某段年輕歲月中，我在計程車上對一位先生鄭重其事（好像我是第一個發現這件事的人那樣）的說：語言真的是非常有力量的東西。

當時我初次接觸到＂言靈＂這個詞彙。深感震撼。

所以什麼是藝術，大概什麼都可以是，也什麼都可以不是。

回到Y先生上。後來我找到其他人的書評，才發現了一開始就忽略的秘密。所以我們怎麼能知道＂我之為我＂？語言真的是奇妙的東西吶。
